šŸŽ The Best Present is Presence

The tech that disappears—so we can be more present.

The Best Tech Is the One You Forget

Yesterday was Father’s Day. And instead of tech, I got presence.

We started at a new AI exhibit at the science museum—an experience less about circuits and more about connection. Lunch followed with a skyline view of Miami’s relentless optimism, and we ended with How To Train Your Dragon in IMAX 3D (yes, it was epic).

But this was the moment that lingered:

That’s my family, walking through the blue strand sculpture outside the PĆ©rez Art Museum. It’s interactive. Physical. Spatial. You don’t consume it—you move through it. Just like the best kind of tech.

What made it special wasn’t the sculpture itself—it was how it made us feel. Immersed. Curious. Present.

And that’s my thesis today:
The best technology doesn't demand your attention—it gives it back to you.

Whether it's ambient interfaces, spatial computing, or AI that listens more than it speaks—we're entering an era where software and hardware step out of the spotlight. And when they do, we step into it.

šŸ”§ TOOL/WORKFLOW OF THE WEEK

The recently refreshed beta release of Spacetop lets you ditch your physical screen altogether. It’s a laptop with no display—just glasses that project a virtual workspace into your environment. Total focus.

šŸ¤” PROMPT OF THE WEEK

ā€œWhat would this experience feel like if my tech helped me notice more, not less?ā€

Ask it before you build, before you ship, before you install.

šŸ” SIGNAL STACK

Proof that ambient computing isn’t a trend—it’s already here:

šŸ“ TAKEAWAY

Tech doesn’t have to fight for our attention.
The real opportunity is in creating tools that fade into the background—so we can be more alive in the foreground.

Presence is a feature. Let’s build for it.

Keep Looking Forward,

Alejandro
