Claude Runs a Shop, Google Summarizes the News, and We’re Reviewing Q2

From energy-hungry data centers to AI-native browsers—plus one hell of a virtual QBR

💭 Monday Thought

Good morning, fancy meeting you here. Thanks for showing up!

My weekend? Pretty good. Nothing crazy. Some family time, some friends time, even some alone time! All quality time. Hope you got a chance to unwind as well.

Onwards…

I’m feeling good, optimistic, and maybe a little overwhelmed on this hot and humid Miami Monday morning (or Friday afternoon, when I write most of these emails 😉).

I can’t help but feel a little bit of additional pressure lately.

Do you feel it too?

That feeling that because you can do pretty much anything better by leveraging this wave of AI-driven innovation, it’s hard to know where you stand?

Where to start?

And, sometimes, even, what to do next?

I don’t really have a cure for this condition as of yet, but it sure is good to know I’m not the only one.

Moving on…

Last Friday we had our Ampersand Consulting 2025 2nd quarter business review.

It was a great chance to get together with the whole team, review our past quarter performance as a company, and connect on what matters as we head into the next quarter.

It is a welcomed strategic beat that helps keep us all in rhythm.

This one was virtual, and it was amazing. Jennifer Robinson is establishing herself as a powerful leader for our business. And she hit it out of the park again!

And I’m not just saying that because she sent us all delicious Crumbl cookies right before we started the much anticipated virtual meeting.

Onwards and upwards…
